Office/accounts Manager

Smith Foy Partners LLP are seeking to recruit an Office/Accounts Manager. 

Core skills:

  • Honest trustworthy person of impeccable character and integrity;
  • Good with computers/IT generally;
  • Good mathematical aptitude;
  • Disciplined filing and record organisation and maintenance;
  • Experienced user of MS Excel. Familiarity with formulas, rounding errors, sorting, filtering;
  • Experienced user of MS Outlook – calendaring etc.;
  • High English language skills;
  • Experience of accounts package(s) – preferably legal accounting package(s);
  • Experience of online banking;
  • Experience of Revenue Online Service.

Core activities:

  • Bookkeeping/accounts and banking (including online);
  • Record keeping (including maintenance/supervision of office registers);
  • Dealing with suppliers and service providers;
  • Office payroll;
  • Keeping office records (including records and registers for regulatory compliance);
  • Generating reports;
  • Liaising with external auditors;
  • Billing , invoices and VAT returns;
  • Assisting with office administration tasks generally where required.
