Position: Office Administration Manager / Accounting

Location: Killarney, County Kerry

Job Purpose:

The Office Administration Manager / Accounting role is designed to oversee the administrative functions and accounting operations within Jovin Projects Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient running of the office, support financial processes, payroll and monthly project valuation reports.

With offices in Cork and Kerry and serving customers all over Munster, we have a long reference list and over 20 years of experience. Key Responsibilities:

Office Management: Oversee daily office operations

Administrative Support: Provide administrative support

Vendor Management: Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors

Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the office environment.

Accounting: Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports, and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and management of budgets, monitoring expenditures and variances.

Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.

Payroll Management: Administer payroll processes, including salary calculations, tax withholdings, and benefits administration.

Key Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in office administration and accounting role.

Skills and Competencies:

Accounting Knowledge: Ability to prepare monthly project valuation reports.

Administrative Skills: Strong organisational, time management, and multitasking abilities.

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and accounting software (e.g., Payroll etc).

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Working Conditions:

Office-based role

Full-Time/Permanent: Standard working hours – 39 hours per week

Salary and other Benefits

Salary: €35,000 to €48,000 per year
