Office Administrator
We are seeking an organised, proactive and customer-focused individual to join our team at our Cork depot. As Office Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the depot, providing administrative support across sales, customer service, health and safety, and general office functions. This is a varied role that requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
What you will do:
- Provide administrative support to ensure the efficient running of the depot
- Process hire transactions using the Company’s hire management software
- Handle customer enquiries by phone, email and in person, delivering excellent customer service at all times
- Liaise with the transport and yard teams to coordinate equipment availability, deliveries and collections
- Point of contact for inter-depot communication and coordination
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems and customer account information
- Assist with health and safety administration, including maintaining training records, inspection records and compliance documentation
- Undertake other administrative and ad hoc duties as required
What you will need:
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of heavy equipment or a willingness to learn about different types of equipment and their application

Hours of work: Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 5pm & Friday 7:30am – 4pm, 41.5 hrs per week
