Office Administrator (Part-Time)

The Office Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of a small office and required to perform a range of clerical and administrative tasks.

Key areas of responsibility will include clerical support to the Press Ombudsman and Press Council and minute-taking of regular Press Council meetings.

The hours of work will be 9 am to 1 pm Monday to Friday

The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate: 

• Excellent writing skills.

• An ability to record minutes of meetings concisely and accurately. 

• A proven track record in office organisation and administration.

• Experience in use of IT programmes used in office administration.

• Good communication skills. 

The seven-point salary scale (based on a 20 hour working week) is €17,500 - €21,100. The starting point on the scale for the successful candidate will be determined by previous experience. The position is permanent and pensionable.
