Office Administrator/Receptionist
General Summary:
Job Overview
Qualcomm is seeking an Office Administrator for its Administration team based in Cork, Ireland. The candidate will be required to work onsite carrying out several responsibilities within the team and supporting the requirements of both site leadership and employees. This role is crucial in supporting employees and ensuring the smooth operational running of the office.
This is an onsite 5 days a week position.
Job Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
Manage Reception Area with a focus on efficient and effective running of the office for all users including internal employees and external stakeholders.
Maintenance of office procedures.
Updating / maintaining manual and electronic filing.
Raising Purchase Orders.
Operating Visitor Management system.
Handling inbound and outbound logistics.
Ordering and maintaining of office and catering supplies.
Expense Management.
Point of contact for supporting / liaising with all departments, including Finance, HR, and Export Compliance.
Maintaining H&S standards in the office.
Ad-hoc administrative duties as they arise.
What are we looking for?
Highly organised individual with strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail.
Strong IT skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Flexible and a competent multi-tasker.
Excellent time management skills.
Confident in working for multinational company with offices worldwide, across time zones and cultures.
Willingness to turn their hand to any request.
Dual ability to follow tight controls/processes one minute and to show initiatives needed when required the next.
Communication skills essential.
Must be professional and presentable.
Must be proactive and a team worker.
Must be self-starting and able to work unsupervised.
Must have business acumen, excellent English, spelling, punctuation, grammar, full understanding of professional presentation of self and work, oral and written, both to internal colleagues and external companies.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree.ORAssociate's degree and 2+ years of Office Administration or related work experience.ORHigh School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of Office Administration or related work experience.
