The Role

Carraig Donn currently have an opportunity for an Online Warehouse Supervisor between both locations Castlebar/Westport.

Main duties of this role will include:

• Foster a strong team spirit through communication, leadership and collaboration.
• Supervision of the teams and involvement of HR aspects, reviews, sickness etc.
• Support recruitment, training and development of team members to enhance efficiency and engagement.
• Coaching staff when issues/concerns arise.
• Driving efficiencies and improving processes.
• Maintaining records, reporting relevant information and preparing any necessary documentation.
• Building knowledge of all external systems that feed into the warehouse and trouble shooting.
• Ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with Carraig Donn policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with H&S and all accident and near misses are reported on in a timely manner
• Communications to relevant departments on issues/concerns relating to the Online/Warehouse department.
• Problem solving and gaining improvements with IT systems. Involvement with System testing. 
• Assisting with correct stock processes and ensuring this is adhered to across the team, communication with suppliers where required
• Maintain high standards of warehouse organisation, safety and hygiene. Operate a clean as you go policy.
• Main point of contact in the absence of the Operations manager.

What are we looking for:

• Two plus years’ experience working in a warehouse environment, knowledge of PPD Systems.
• An energetic person as this is quite an active and physical role within our warehouse environment.
• Experience with managing a team, coaching, performance reviews.
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent IT skills
• Excellent attention to detail is a must
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Knowledge of Shopify is desired.
