Operational Team Manager, Community Neuro-rehabilitation

Each candidate must at the latest date of completed applications:

Be a Health Care professional with a recognised relevant professional qualification in Nursing or Health & Social Care Professions*

* Relevant disciplines are: Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech & Language Therapist, Psychologist, Social Worker, Dietitians, Nursing/ Midwifery

AND (ii) Be registered, or eligible for registration, on the appropriate register for the profession, CORU (Health & Social Care Professionals) or An Bord Altranais and Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland - NMBI)

And

Have a minimum of five years post qualification work experience including five years working in or managing the delivery of neurological rehabilitation services.

And

Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office

Post specific requirements:

· Candidates must be able to demonstrate evidence of a significant track record in leading and implementing service improvement within a health system and/or possess a qualification of relevance to same

· Sound knowledge of current issues and experience of working with adults with neurological conditions and neuro-rehabilitative needs

The candidate will be required to understand the complexity and dynamics associated with change in the health and social care sector and the wider Neuro-Rehabilitation Strategy. They will understand the challenges of leading a change programme with technology and process change, interdependencies and HR challenges.
