Role Profile

Based at the Ballyragget site and reporting to the Site Process Technical Team Manager, the operations Administrator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of site activities. This position provides comprehensive administrative support, manages resources, and maintains efficient systems and processes. The role spans the entire site and contributes significantly to operational coordination and employee engagement. 

Responsibilities

  • Promote & implement Best Practice Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Develop and standardize operations reports
  • Managing Plant orders, reconciliations, GRN’s
  • Maintenance of office supplies for operations
  • Ensure all records are up to date and accurate.
  • Support the communications plan for Ballyragget by maintaining notice boards, one lan system, 3M boards and other communication tools as required.
  • Creation of a quarterly site newsletter
  • Site tours for new hires and visitors
  • Management of office allocation when necessary
  • Holiday cover for site access cards and training
  • Other duties as assigned 

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with SAP/Ariba or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong administrative writing skills for reports, newsletters, and documentation.
  • Reporting skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Ability to manage processes efficiently and maintain compliance.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple priorities.
  • Analysing information and providing actionable insights.
  • Problem-solving capability to address operational challenges.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
