Opthalmic Technician

The Ophthalmology Technician will have work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality ophthalmic diagnostic and technical services to patients attending the department. The post holder will have responsibility for performing ocular diagnostics and imaging. With particular responsibility for assisting and performing visual field assessment, ophthalmic electrodiagnostic investigations and colour vision testing, ensuring that all investigations are carried out safely, accurately and in accordance with departmental protocols and HSE policies in the busy Department of Ophthalmology within the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital campus.
