Organisational Development Business Partner

The role:
  • Assist with the definition and implementation of Ryobi’s talent management strategy to foster a culture of continuous people development across the organisation.
  • Responsible for the creation/sourcing and implementation of talent and learning and development programs to meet business and budget requirements, supporting the delivery of training activities where appropriate.
  • Support succession and talent planning, identifying talent pools and development opportunities for critical roles.
  • Assist with the design and implementation of an employee engagement strategy that aligns with business goals, promotes company values and enhances the employee experience.
  • Develop and support a performance management culture that promotes consistency, transparency and training opportunities and meets the needs of employees and the organisation.
  • Ensure Managers are equipped with the necessary tools for effective communication of performance objectives and identification of performance gaps and growth opportunities. 
  • Oversee Ryobi's outreach activities and initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and provide recommendations for continuous improvement in Ryobi’s organisational development activity.
  • Supervise the Training team, and its day to day function.
  • Establish networks/partnerships to promote best practice in organisation development.
  • Comply with the Company HSE policies and requirements of the relevant Management Systems both in normal and emergency situations
  • Participate in team working, information sharing, 5S and Continuous Improvement Programmes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Essential Criteria:
    • Educated to degree standard or equivalent in a relevant discipline and/or CIPD Qualification
    • Significant recent experience in the successful implementation and delivery of quantifiable business improvements in

    • Has successfully led a team which has contributed effectively to organisational policy or strategy
