Orthopaedic Service Coordinator
Purpose of the Role
The post holder will be required have overall responsibility for ensuring the DDH waiting lists and DDH MDT clinics are managed within the specified timeframes, as per relevant OPD Waiting List Management protocols, and lead the administrative elements of service development as they arise, including working across all CHI sites. Producing reports and activity for the DDH clinics. Assisting the Clinical Lead Orthopaedics.
Essential Criteria
· Achieved Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification not less than Level 6 in the QQI framework
· Have at least five years secretarial/administrative experience at Grade IV level
· Have a working knowledge of hospital information systems which should include patient administration systems (e.g. iPIMS)
· Experience of implementing process improvements
· Knowledge of the NTPF Outpatient wait list management protocols
12 Months Waiting List and Outpatients Clinic Management Experience
