Packaging Graduate

We are currently looking for a Packaging Graduate to join our dynamic Quality team on a 2 year Graduate program.We are the concentrate team in PepsiCo (PGCS) working across the Beverage, Nutrition and Snacks categories to deliver concentrate for many of PepsiCo’s mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi. We are at the heart of PepsiCo products, sourcing ingredients to manufacture more than 1,200 recipes for our brands. We are a global organisation, situated in 13 locations across 9 countries offering careers in various functions from Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, R&D, HR and IT. We want team members who can collaborate in our fast paced global organisation and are passionate about creating and delivering much-loved household brands to markets across the world.The Technical Function is our team of enabling experts offering knowledge and partnership to functions on specialist subjects including engineering, quality and productivity. They ensure operations and food safety excellence for our team. Could you bring a new dimension to our technical expertise? If so we could take your talents to a whole new level. POSITION PURPOSE AND PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIESDevelop a thorough understanding of industrial packaging i.e. packaging development, vendor development, specification process, quality assurance, and packaging validation.Sustain PGCS packaging specification development process.Tactical execution of packaging projects linked to quality improvement, productivity, and sustainability.Support PGCS capability building agenda through documentation management and developing a best practice tools in collaboration with packaging team members. Sustain and maintain Supplier Quality assurance on the global Trackwise system. Partner with approved inbound packaging vendor base to conduct process mapping and identify process control points in extrusion blow moulding, blown film extrusion, corrugated boxes.Support and comply with safety and compliance initiatives on site.Partner with PepsiCo Scientific and Regulatory Affairs team for documentation compliance initiatives.

Qualifications/Requirements

Essential Criteria i.e. qualifications and/or experience (this will be assessed during short-listing)TECHNICALGraduate qualification in engineering or any science stream (desired - materials, packaging, chemistry, or food discipline).Knowledge and technical understanding of quality and food safety would be idealCapable of planning, executing, and delivering projects within specified time framesFluent PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook PERSONALGood organizational, planning and project management skills.Excellent documentation management skills. Self-starter, self-motivated, able to deal with uncertainty and complexityGood interpersonal skills with ability to influence vertically & horizontallyGood analytical skills; ability to analyse technical data and translate information to solving problems.
