Painter

Painter – 4* Grand Hotel, Malahide

Now under the FBD Hotels & Resorts management, the Grand Hotel in Malahide is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our maintenance team on a full-time basis.

About the Role:
As a Painter, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of presentation throughout the hotel by carrying out painting and decorating tasks across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. You’ll be working as part of a supportive and experienced maintenance team in a busy hotel environment.

Responsibilities will include:

• Carry out interior and exterior painting, decorating, and minor repair work
• Ensure all work areas are left clean and safe after tasks are completed
• Follow all health and safety procedures
• Liaise with other departments to minimize disruption to guests
• Assist the wider maintenance team with general upkeep as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a painter (hotel or commercial setting preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of finish
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility and a positive attitude
• Good time management skills
