OVERALL, PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
This is an exciting time to join the Odyssey Trust who manage and operate The O2 Belfast; comprised of The O2 Belfast, including the Arena, W5 & W5 Life, and the complex-associated car park and exterior grounds. The post holder will be integral part of the Site Wide Facilities team, maintaining The O2 Belfast estate and its assets to the highest standard.

MAIN DUTIES
• To undertake redecoration of areas within The O2 Belfast and buildings to maintain high standards.
• To plan and schedule work and potential works, in line with timeframes set by a variety of site events.
• To undertake minor painting repairs to rooms, ingress, egress, surfaces etc as required within The O2 Belfast estate.
• To identify and create a plan of works annually to be undertaken within The O2 Belfast estate in conjunction with the Facilities Manager i.e. external pipework, plant, surfaces.
• Works onsite will include internal and external duties.
• Manage stock and plant / equipment as needed.
• Ensuring health and safety standards and requirements of works are always adhered to and managed.
• Assisting other trades within the Site Wide Facilities department.
• Any other duties as requested by your Line Manager.

• Maintain excellent working relationships with other staff and volunteers.
• Ensure the delivery of BEET to all our customers and be committed to the Odyssey Trust ethos and objectives.
• Be committed to and work in accordance with our Safeguarding, Health & Safety, Equality and other established policies and procedures.
• Be flexible to undertake such other duties that may be required including occasionally working evenings, weekends and public holidays, if required.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Essential Criteria
• At least 3 years’ experience as a qualified painter, preferably in a similar role / environment.
• Energetic and motivated individual.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Criteria
• CSR card
• IPAF License
• Driving license
• NVQ level 3 Qualification – Painting
• Good IT knowledge
Salary: £29,850 per annum
