Park Ranger

The post holder will undertake duties and tasks ensuring all areas are open, safe, well maintained and tidy for the enjoyment of Parks and Cemetery users. 

Please note 

• There are 3 permanent posts: 

- 1 full-time post working 36 hours per week on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday
- 2 part-time posts working 18 hours per week on Saturday and Sunday

• Based in Castle Park, however successful candidates will work throughout the Borough
• A reserve list may be kept from this recruitment exercise 
• Working evenings, weekends and public holidays are an essential requirement of this post 
• Appointment will be subject to satisfactory completion of a driving assessment, medical questionnaire including a pre-employment Drugs and Alcohol Screening
