Job Description & Summary

We are looking to recruit a Temporary administrator to work for our DIO Department within the Tax LoS. The role of the Administrator at PwC is to offer administrator support to the Tax practice in onboarding new and existing clients and setting up and maintaining clients on PwC systems.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced team of organised administrations professionals and give you exposure to business units within Tax and allow you to work with many different individuals on a daily basis. You will have a key role in operating and supporting the administration of internal systems and processes designed to ensure compliance with risk and quality (R&Q) procedures within PwC’s Tax department.

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone with great people skills, strong organisational skills, have an excellent track record of previous professional administrative roles and be a self-starter who can take the initiative to jump in and assist on various projects.

Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Working with the tax practice to onboard new and existing clients to Salesforce, iPower & other PwC systems.

  • Creation of salesforce opportunities for new and existing clients.

  • Liaising with the CDO team on client data issues

  • Drafting contracts for new and existing clients

  • Working as part of the Tax R&Q team with responsibility for processing the firm’s AML procedures for tax clients.

  • A good understanding of the AML processes and completion and submission of AML checklists.

  • Working with specialist teams within the firm including the AML, Independence and Data teams.

  • Adapting new Tax R&Q processes when required for changes in legislation and working closely with the Tax R&Q team to adopt any new globally rolled out technology/systems.

  • Inputting into appropriate changes to be made to processes to ensure they are carried out as efficiently as possible.

  • Work closely with the Tax R&Q teams based in both the Kilkenny & Dublin offices

  • Supporting the tax practice with R&Q queries and resources available to assist with their queries.

  • Escalating queries within the R&Q team.

Working in a large firm with a global reach means that the team regularly interacts with teams across the firm’s different departments and as the need arises, other territories.

You will be working with a multitude of global systems like Salesforce, Workday, among others. 

As a client administrator, you’ll work to help engagement teams within the Tax business units to carry out their R&Q procedures and to solve their queries. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the firm’s R&Q procedures

  • Embrace the digital transformation being undertaken in our business. Being motivated to familiarise yourself with these evolutions and to drive these technologies further in our day-to-day business.

  • Embrace changes in procedures arising as a result of changes in legislation and work with the Tax R&Q team to adopt any new globally rolled out technologies or systems

  • Assist in the ongoing management of internal relationships. 

  • Development of your own career.
