Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present pastries, desserts, petits- fours, afternoon tea, cakes, breads, and other baked goods to the highest standards
  • Manage your designated pastry section and ensure efficient daily operations
  • Assist in the development and execution of seasonal menus and dessert offerings
  • Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control
  • Support the Head Pastry Chef in maintaining stock levels and reducing waste

· HACCP - To adhere to company procedures in regard to temperature checks, food labelling and dating, cleaning schedules and hygiene regulations at all times ensuring that all records of such are maintained.

  • Assist with training and mentoring junior members of the pastry team
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

· To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Head Chef

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie, Demi Chef de Partie, or equivalent pastry role
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, and dessert preparation
  • Experience working within a hotel, resort, or high-volume hospitality environment is desirable
  • Passion for pastry, creativity, and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Relevant culinary or pastry qualification preferred
