Patient Accounts Team Lead
Job Purpose:
The Patient Accounts Team lead is responsible for the provision of administration support in all areas within the Private Health Insurance & Patient Accounts team and for the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the invoicing process, in accordance with the terms of the Health Acts and patient’s eligibility and in ensuring the effective and timely collection of these monies owed through submission to the Private Health Insurers. The officer is responsible for ensuring that adequate records and systems are maintained in a satisfactory condition in order to provide information as required and to fulfil all the statutory requirements on an on-going basis.
The Patient accounts team lead is responsible for running reports and providing management with details of all trends relating to individual consultants, insurers and claims at risk.
