Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of patient feedback mechanisms.
  • Support initiatives to improve patient engagement
  • Provide information and support to patients/service users throughout their interaction with the hospital
  • Support staff in the management of complaints with a focus on early resolution
  • Assist patients in understanding the complaints process
  • Support communication between patients, families and hospital staff
  • Support the implementation of complaints management processes in line with national standards
