Patient Safety Incident Management, Quality Improvement And Data Manager
The role
The primary purpose of the post of the Patient Safety Incident Management, Quality Improvement and Data Manager will be to:
· Work as an effective member of the DSE Regional QPS Team contributing to the strategic and operational priorities for Quality and Patient Safety across the region.
· Work collaboratively with the Senior Management Team, Heads of Services, GMs and CEOs and Clinical Teams to enable continuous improvement in the governance of patient safety incident management across the Region.
· Lead and support data driven quality and patient safety improvement priorities for the Region.
· Contribute and support the collation and development of data for the Regions Networks of Care: Quality and Patient Safety Assurance Metrics Programme.

1.Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc.
a)Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition:
- An academic award in Healthcare, Risk or Quality or Patient Safety Management in Healthcare at level 6 (or higher) on the Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) framework or equivalent
OR
- A professional qualification in a health-related area
b) The candidate must possess the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
