Patroller
Description
Due to continued growth of our Overhead Lines Department, TLI Group are recruiting for an Overhead lines Patroller for our expanding Department, based out of our Munster offices. Reporting to the Project Manager & the Patrolling Supervisor who will coordinate the crews ensuring the timely delivery of our Patrolling projects.
The Patroller is responsible for patrolling the Client (ESB) Electrical Networks for the purpose of identifying the work to be undertaken at each pole set location with an allocated Group.

Our Overhead lines team is based out of our Tralee HQ, but travel to and from site on will be a predominate part of the role.

Key ResponsibilitiesChecks all lines for defectsIdentifies work to be carried out on the Network SystemCompletes per checks at all pole set for condition of polesCompletes a Madison Bore Test on all polesKnowledge of requires of poles to determine rotChecks adjacent spans for conditionIdentifies hazards on the NetworkEnsures Health and Safety standards are observedReports all findings in a comprehensive manner so as to be determined by the client for the purposes of preparing the Bill of Quantities
Qualifications & SkillsQualifications
- Safepass
- Manual Handling
- Full Irish/EU driver’s license
Knowledge
- Working on and with Live and Dead power lines LV/MV/HV standards
