About the Role
Payment & Card Products sit at the heart of how customers interact with AIB every day. In 2025 alone, AIB processed over 1.45 billion transactions, representing more than €1.8 trillion in value on behalf of our customers.
An exciting opportunity now exists for a Payment & Card Products Delivery Lead to join the Payment & Card Products Team Reporting to the Head of Payment & Card Products, this senior leadership role is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of strategic and regulatory initiatives across AIB’s payments and cards portfolio.
Key Accountabilities
- Act as Business Sponsor for key Payment & Card Product initiatives.
- Ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
- Lead delivery of strategic and regulatory changes across payments and cards.
- Drive enterprise readiness and stakeholder alignment.
- Ensure risks are identified, understood and mitigated appropriately.
- Champion a customer-first mindset across all initiatives.
- Lead, develop and upskill teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience leading complex strategic and regulatory programmes.
- Strong senior stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience engaging with regulators and representing the organization externally.
- Minimum 7 years leadership experience with a track record of developing talent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of the product management lifecycle.
- Customer-facing experience is desirable.
