Payroll / Accounts Officer

National Rehabilitation University HospitalDublin

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following position within the National Rehabilitation University Hospital for Grade IV Payroll / Accounts Officer

This position is part of an integrated finance team with the responsibility of the day-to-day

management of the Payroll / Superannuation and Accounts Control function.

The candidate must, on the latest date for receiving completed application forms for the office, have:

1. Been educated to Leaving Certificate standard or equivalent.

2. Knowledge of computer packages, including Mega pay and Agresso, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.

3. Satisfactory experience in an accounts officer/administration post and possess sufficient administrative capacity to discharge the functions of the grade.

4. Capacity for responsibility and individual initiative.

5. Good interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to liaise successfully between groups.

DESIRABLE

1. Knowledge of Mega pay payroll system and Agresso Accounts.

2. Knowledge of Bookkeeping Terminology

3. A sound background in and knowledge of the Health Services Sector
