Payroll Manager

The Clear Group requires a Payroll Manager to join our team on a full-time permanent basis working 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday based in our Support Office, Belfast. The successful candidate will report to the Financial Director. We are looking for someone with solid previous experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities

- Responsibility for processing multiple monthly for 500+ staff (predominantly permanent)
- System Administrator duties for online interactive payroll system
- Liaising with HR team members to ensure queries are resolved efficiently, quickly and in line with agreed process
- Uploading monthly payroll journals
- RTI Submissions and communication with HMRC
- Responsible for pension deductions, importing pension contributions to Pension Scheme and running of the automation of pension letters and communications
- Processing of all payroll related forms
- Monthly reconciliation of payroll
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
- Payroll qualification desirable (CIPP)
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously with a high level of personal organisation skills
- Ability to liaise with staff at all levels of the business in a confident and professional manner
- Payroll processing and compliance
- Data analysis and reconciliation
- Problem-solving and decision-making
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines
