Payroll Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our talented Payroll Services Team. Based in our Kilkenny office with blended work from home, you will join a fast growing and ambitious Firm delivering excellent services to great clients.

The Role

Working within our Payroll Services Team you will have a broad range of responsibilities including:

· Responsibility for the timely and accurate end to end processing of client payrolls.

· Liaising with clients to resolve their Payroll Issues.

· Peer Reviews of Payroll Processed by Junior Colleagues.

· Strict Adherence to deadlines in the Processing and Submission of Revenue Returns e.g., RPNs, PSR and Payment of PAYE/PRSI/USC Liabilities.

· Developing good working relationships with both Internal and External Stakeholders e.g. Other IFAC offices, Clients.

· Coaching and development of Junior Payroll Team Members.

· Interacting with Regional Offices in relation to Client Payroll Matters.

· Adopting a proactive approach to delivery for our clients. Anticipating the subsequent actions and steps the client will require and be comfortable in the raising and escalating of obstacles to successful delivery, both within the IFAC organisation and with the client where necessary.

· Delivery of client solutions with accuracy and strong attention to detail, ensuring that all Audit and Control requirements are met throughout the client onboarding lifecycle.

· Continuously aiming to reduce implementation cycle time.

· Contributing and championing the streamlining of processes.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be an experienced Payroll professional with:

· 5 years’ payroll experience.

· Good planning and organisational skills with excellent time management.

· Ability to work on own initiative and seek assistance where required.

· Flexibility.

· The ability to work within a team.

· Keen sense of responsibility and commitment.

· A high degree of initiative.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
