Description

One of our growing offices, based in Cavan, are currently recruiting for a Payroll Specialist to join their high achieving team. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end payroll processes for a portfolio of clients across various sectors, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full payroll cycle for multiple clients (weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls).

  • Process starters, leavers, and statutory leave (sick leave, maternity, paternity, etc.).

  • Submit payroll data and process through Revenue’s PAYE Modernisation (RTI) system using ROS.

  • Calculate PAYE, PRSI, USC, LPT, BIK, and pension contributions accurately.

  • Prepare and issue payslips, P45 equivalents, and year-end statements.

  • Handle payroll queries from clients and employees in a timely and professional manner.

  • Assist with CSO returns and Revenue audits where applicable.

Key Requirements

  • Third level degree or similar qualification.

  • Experience in a similar role desirable.

  • Part qualification from one of the Accountancy bodies.

  • Basic knowledge / experience of both corporate and personal tax computations.

  • Highly motivated with the ability to work to strict deadlines.

  • Good technical skills.

  • Positive can-do attitude and a team player.

  • Team player with strong communication and leadership potential.
