A fixed-term vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following posts and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:-
PEACEPLUS Project Coordinator
37 Hours per week
Fixed term until 30 June 2028
Scale PO1 and in the range SCP 29 – 32, currently £39,862 - £42,839 per annum.
Location: The location of this post will be in Carrickfergus, however the post holder may be required to work in any area of the Borough as the post dictates.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
The postholder will assist the Investment and Funding Manager with the co-ordination, delivery, monitoring and implementation of PEACEPLUS funded projects; in line with programme objectives, funding requirements and council policies.
Provide advice, guidance and support to project partners in the delivery and implementation of funded projects including PEACEPLUS, National, EU and other investment funds.
To actively promote and support peacebuilding, reconciliation, cross-community outcomes and take a lead role in coordinating activities with other council teams to ensure council strategies, policies and procedures are implemented effectively.

The shortlisting panel will base shortlisting decisions on the information contained within the Essential Criteria narrative sections of the application form.
