The PTSB People, Governance and Operations Graduate Programmes offer graduates the opportunity to launch their careers through one of three specialist streams: Operations & Transformation, Group Internal Audit, or Human Resources. Over a 24-month programme graduates will gain structured development, rotational experience and hands-on exposure within their chosen area, while developing a broad understanding of the wider organisation.

Working alongside experienced colleagues, graduates will contribute to meaningful projects, build expertise in areas such as operations, transformation, governance, risk, audit, customer experience and people strategy, and develop a strong understanding of how these functions support the delivery of PTSB's strategic objectives.

Supported by experienced colleagues, assigned buddies and a comprehensive learning and development framework, graduates will gain the skills, experience and professional networks needed to build a successful long-term career at PTSB.

Operations & Transformation Graduate Programme

Drive operational excellence and business transformation by supporting critical banking operations, process improvements and strategic change initiatives.

Group Internal Audit Graduate Programme

Provide independent assurance and insights through exposure to governance, risk management and control frameworks across the Bank.

Human Resources Graduate Programme

Help shape exceptional customer and colleague experiences through exposure to talent, culture, employee experience and organisational development.

Responsibilities:

As a Graduate in PTSB you can expect to perform some of the following activities:

• Gain exposure and contribute to business-critical projects in a fast-paced environment, build strong management, interpersonal and technical skills throughout the Programme.

• Adopt a continuous improvement mindset to identify customer pain points and process enhancements.

• Due to the changing nature of work and rotations, we encourage flexibility amongst graduates to perform other ad hoc activities and seize new opportunities as they arise.

• Establish and maintain professional relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

• Engage with all areas of the organisation supporting colleagues and Bank wide initiatives. 

Requirements:

• Graduating in 2027/ Graduated in 2026

• You must be legally entitled to work in the Republic of Ireland without restriction* for the duration of the programme (September 2027 – September 2029)

*Without restriction refers to candidates who have a valid visa in place and do not require any sponsorship (from company or self-sponsorship) of work visa from September 2027 – September 2029.

• Candidates must have or be on track to achieve a minimum result of a 2:1 Second Class Honours, Grade 1 (60 – 69%) in their Level 8 qualification or above

This is a 24-month fixed term contract based in St. Stephen’s Green or Cork Airport Business Park (Hybrid Options available within Republic of Ireland only)
