Role Profile

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious People Services Specialist to join our dynamic HR team within Tirlán reporting to the People Services Manager. The People Services Specialist plays a critical role in processing and facilitating HR transactions across the employee lifecycle. This role serves as the face of HR by providing employee or manager support via phone and tickets and strives to provide an exemplary experience when employees or managers reach out to seek support. They will develop and maintain strong HR Knowledge across the employee lifecycle and will partner closely with HRBPs, payroll, managers and employees to ensure transactions are entered correctly in a timely manner and handled with empathy, compassion and professionalism. By entering transactions, processing corrections and completing approvals, they will ensure consistent & clean data across the organisation that can be used to unlock new insights and drive business decision making. This role also plays a critical role in ensuring process compliance with local laws and regulations

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team to deliver a quality and professional employee-facing support service in line with agreed SLAs 
  • Respond to and resolve, where possible, routine HR service inquiries (including payroll inquiries) and issues via phone or ECSC ticket.
  • This role supports internal company population.
  • Re-route / escalate requests for People Success Organisation services outside of Employee Services remit to relevant functional support team in a responsive, timely and efficient manner 
  • Treat all information as strictly confidential and to only discuss matters with the relevant persons, escalating any potential breaches identified
  • Demonstrate ability to accurately process HR transactions such as separations and job moves utilising support materials available via the knowledge base
  • Leverage local law and HR Policy knowledge to review and approve transactions in the HCM system and resolve queries
  • Create relevant documentation to support various processes (e.g. employment verification letters) based on existing templates in the document management tool
  • File and retrieve employment-related records upon request
  • Process data corrections upon request from an authorized party and inform relevant stakeholders
  • Manage communications to downstream systems and parties where integrations do not send the data automaticall

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or corresponding experience is preferred 
  • 1-3 years of previous experience in HR administration 
  • Knowledge of working in SuccessFactors system is preferred
  • Well organise person willing to learn in fast developing environment
  • Spoken and written fluency in English required
  • Strong communication skills and listening skills
  • Strong execution, and timely and thorough follow-through and follow-up of tasks
  • Must be a team player and work well with others
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Problem solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies
