The People Solutions - HR Senior Associate plays a pivotal role in shaping and driving the success of the People Solutions team within People & Culture. This is a dynamic, multi-faceted role that spans the full spectrum of HR responsibilities. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and delivering across a wide range of core HR areas including, but not limited to, HR operations, recruitment and onboarding, payroll and reward, performance management and HR policy and compliance.You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment where adaptability is essential. Whether you’re streamlining processes or advising on operational activities and initiatives, your work will directly contribute to a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace.
You’ll partner closely with stakeholders across the People Solutions team and the business, to deliver proactive and solution focused HR services. This role requires an individual with a strong foundation in HR principles and practices, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate across various levels of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Together with fellow People Solutions Senior Associates, proactively support the People Solutions Manager, to mind and develop the team, ensuring quality delivery of all HR operations, and championing excellent employee experience.
Monitor and uphold service excellence ensuring KPI’s and Service Delivery Targets are consistently met and aligned with our commitment to high standards.
Lead and deliver initiatives for People Solutions, ensuring deadlines are met and team members are equipped, trained and empowered to deliver the required services.
Effectively delegate tasks to team members, ensuring clear ownership, balanced workloads, and timely execution across the team.
Collaborate with stakeholders/Centres of Excellence to deliver an excellent service delivery to them, understanding their needs and challenges.
Navigate complex operational matters such as performance improvement plans (PIPs), with confidence.
Act as a trusted advisor to the team, providing insights and guidance on complex HR matters and supporting the development of junior team members, building confidence and capability
Lead HR projects that drive efficiency, effectiveness and innovation across People Solutions.
Identify and implement process improvements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and value creation.
Embrace emerging technologies, supporting the team in developing digital skills and capabilities, and adopting new tools that enhance service delivery.
Promote team wellbeing while fostering a collaborative, innovative culture.
Support the development of junior team members by recognising their strengths, managing performance, and encouraging open and constructive feedback.
Actively seek to broaden understanding of the business and its strategic priorities, demonstrating curiosity and adaptability while contributing to the embedding of our people value proposition.
Support or manage other ad hoc tasks, projects or initiatives in the People & Culture team when they arise.
Experience and skills required
Diploma/Degree in Human Resources or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience.
Proven track record of successfully partnering with stakeholders to deliver strategic HR services.
Strong working knowledge of employment laws and regulations
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office Suite; experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and perform in a dynamic environment.
