Performance Auditor

Salary Scale: £44,792 to £49,550 per annum (currently under review)
Location: Hybrid (regular attendance is required at NIAO Belfast headquarters and client sites)
Contract: Permanent Full Time (37 hours per week)

You will work as part of a dynamic and innovative team across a diverse portfolio of public sector clients. As a Performance Auditor in NIAO your work will inform and shape key decisions and long-term changes across the public sector in Northern Ireland.
Essential Criteria:
1. A degree or relevant professional qualification in a discipline with a substantial analytical component.
2. A minimum of 12 months demonstrable, relevant experience of working in one or more of: audit and scrutiny, research, strategy and policy, data analytics, service delivery, or business management.
3. Well-developed research, analytical and numerical skills and the ability to analyse complex data, draw sound judgements and make recommendations for improvement.
4. Be able to travel to various locations as needed to meet the mobility requirements of the post in full.
