We are now recruiting for a Person in Charge (PIC) for either our Residential or Community based services. As Person in Charge you will have the opportunity to work as part of a committed team providing the highest standards of service to the People we Support.

37.5 hours per week for Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (18.75 Part time)
Salary: Clinical Nurse Manager 2, 11-point scale
€61,463, €62,481, €63,342, €64,747, €66,300, €67,826, €69,351 €71,068, €72,662, €75,405 €77,666 LSI
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the service in accordance with the Health Act 2007 and HIQA regulations.
- Ensure the delivery of safe, respectful and rights-based supports to adults in our service.
- Oversee governance, staffing, scheduling, risk management and service planning.
- Foster a positive team culture, supporting professional development and reflective practice.
- Maintain high standards of record keeping, safeguarding and quality assurance.
- Liaise with families, multidisciplinary teams, other managers / coordinators and external stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to care and supports.
Essential Criteria:
- A Recognised qualification in Social Care, Nursing (RNID preferred), or equivalent
- Registration with CORU / in the process of registering with CORU (for social care professionals) or Registration with NMBI (for nurses)
- Minimum of 5 years’ post qualification experience in the disability sector
- Minimum of 3 years’ supervisory or management experience
- Thorough understanding of HIQA regulations and the role of a PIC in a Designated Centre
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational and decision-making skills
- A strong commitment to inclusion, advocacy and person-led planning.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- A full clean driver’s license is essential for the role
Desirable
- Experience of working in residential disability services
- Experience in managing challenging behaviour using positive behaviour support frameworks
