Personal Assistant

Áiseanna Tacaíochta CLG (The AT Network) is currently recruiting a Personal Assistant to assist a young man in his 20s to live an independent life.

This is a personal assistant role not a caring role. Young disabled man who lives at home with family, is seeking a Personal Assistant to support him out in the community and with work commitments

About the role:

Position: Personal Assistant to work with a disabled man

Location: Bettystown Co. Meath

Hours: 15 – 20 hours pw

Salary: Very competitive rates. Premium rates for Sunday work. Opportunities for pay progression and ongoing training and development.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Driving – applicant must have a full clean license
• Travel and assistance when required including international work trips and overnight stays
• Assistance with some personal support needs including personal care and transferring from wheelchair
• Assistance with light cooking and domestic chores, Ironing, cleaning, etc
• Person must be flexible
• Previous experience in another caring role other than PA may be considered
• The successful candidate must be eligible to work in Ireland/Europe and be fluent in English.
