Áiseanna Tacaíochta (ÁT Network) is a non-profit organisation, providing leadership and support to empower people with disabilities to live with the independence, choice and freedom they are entitled to.

Ours is an innovative and progressive approach. We work right across disability; we support both self-directed and family-led services.

This position

Based in Shannon Co. Clare. This is a person-centred role that involves providing support to a female with a physical disability who requires full assistance with care and support needs in her own environment.

· Part Time – several different shifts available

· Competitive rates of Pay

· Training will be provided as part of the role

Essential Qualities

· Healthcare qualification or equivalent experience

· Have a caring, positive and dependable personality.

· Experience of using a hoist

· Fluent English, both spoken and written.

· Excellent communication skills

· Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative

Desirable Qualities

· Experience of working in a home care setting

· An understanding of disability and Independent Living

· Full clean driving license (preferred but not essential).

Duties

· Provide full assistance with personal care tasks

· Food preparation

· Assistance to attend social activities

· Keep a homely environment, which includes daily domestic duties

Other information

· Garda Vetting will need to be completed along with appropriate reference checks.
