About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Personal Care Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidates will be committed to caring for a woman in her 40’s with a physical disability.

What you’ll do

You will play a major role in forming a meaningful connection with our Leaders and assist them in an opportunity to have a completely different lifestyle, one which is catered to their individuality as well as their needs.

Duties

Assisting with personal and domestic care. Assisting to attend appointments and other such tasks including social activities. A more comprehensive list of duties will be agreed if an offer of employment is agreed.

Qualities/Requirements

  • FETAC Level 5 in Social Care or caring industry or equivalent experience
  • An understanding of disability and the Independent Living movement
  • Sociable and good sense of humour
  • Manual handling experience/ qualification essential
  • Must have experience with catheter care
  • Must be available to attend mandatory training sessions.
  • Ability to follow instruction.
  • Flexible
  • Some evening, antisocial and weekend hours will be required.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

To be considered eligible for the above post candidates must have immigration permission to entitle them to work in the state.
