Pharmacist Officer

The Defence Forces Medical Corps is recruiting a Pharmacist Officer to provide pharmaceutical care and support across military healthcare services. The successful candidate will be appointed at the rank of Captain and will play a key role in ensuring safe and effective medication management within a unique operational environment.

Applicants must:

• Hold a BSc in Pharmacy
• Be a registered member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (and maintain registration)
• Have at least 3 years’ postgraduate experience, with evidence of good standing
• Be under 50 years of age in the year of application
• Meet required medical, fitness, and character standards, including Garda vetting
• Have the right to live and work in Ireland

Candidates must pass a comprehensive medical assessment, including vision, hearing, dental, and general health standards in line with Defence Forces requirements.
