- Job Title & Grade – Pharmacy Porter & Driver Procurement Department
- Tenure – The current vacancy available is on a Permanent Full-Time basis
- Panel – A panel may be created from which permanent and specified purpose contract vacancies of full or part time duration may be filled.
- Hours of Work – 39 Hours – the allocation of these hours will be at the discretion of the Department Head and in accordance with needs of service
- Department – Purchasing Dept.
- Location of Post - Peamount Healthcare, Newcastle, Co. Dublin
- Working Model - Fully Onsite
- Remuneration - *Current salary scale with effect from 1st February 2026: €36,288 (point 1) to € 45,484 (point 9)
- Annual Leave - As per Health Service Executive (HSE)
- Closing Date – June 4th, 2026
- Proposed Interview Date - Week of June 15th - Shortlisted candidates are expected to make themselves available to attend.
- Take Up Appointment - Successful applicant(s) must be available to take up the role within a reasonable timeframe
- Reporting Relationship – Reporting to the Procurement Manager

PURPOSE OF THE POST
To support the Procurement and Pharmacy Departments in the distribution of stock, supplies and medication across the campus. The role will also support the collection and compacting of cardboard and plastic waste.
POINT ON SALARY SCALE
New appointees coming from the private sector will be placed on the minimum point of the scale (*exceptions may apply for the below grades, provided proof of recognised service is submitted by VOS)
