Phlebotomist, Staff Grade, General Hospital

The Phlebotomist provides a blood collection service to all wards and the Outpatient Department of Mallow General Hospital.

The Phlebotomist will be required to work individually on the wards or as part of a team in the Outpatients Department.

Mallow General Hospital (MGH) is a 71-bed Acute Model 2 General Hospital providing inpatient, outpatient and day patient services. These services include general medicine, cardiology, respiratory, gerontology, ENT and gastro-enterology.

Inpatient medical activity is supported by a Medical Assessment Unit and a High Dependency Unit.

Mallow General Hospital also provides elective day Surgery, an infusion/Transfusion Unit, Endoscopy, Local Injury Unit, physiotherapy and radiology, including CT scanning services and ultrasound.
