Photographer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Full-Time Seasonal Photographer specialising in product and lifestyle photography, with a strong focus on furniture. This is a 3-month fixed-term contract role supporting a high-volume production period. 

You will be responsible for capturing high-quality images of furniture products in both white background (e-commerce) and lifestyle room settings in a studio, ensuring consistency and brand alignment across all visual outputs. The successful candidate will have a strong eye for lighting, colour accuracy, and detail, along with proficiency in post-production workflows, including the use of AI-powered editing tools alongside traditional software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-volume product and lifestyle photoshoots, focusing on furniture items.
• Capture clean, consistent white background imagery for e-commerce and styled lifestyle imagery for marketing use.
• Create visually appealing compositions, arranging furniture within scenes to highlight key features and functionality.
• Ensure accurate representation of colours, textures, scale, and materials.
• Collaborate closely with the studio team on set builds, styling, and movement of large furniture items.
• Use AI-assisted editing tools to enhance workflow efficiency, including background cleanup, colour correction, retouching, and image optimisation.
• Edit and retouch images to a high standard using Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom.
• Maintain consistent file naming conventions and digital asset organisation.
• Manage administrative tasks including uploading, cataloguing, and documenting images on a regular basis.
• Work to tight production timelines and daily/weekly shoot targets.

Requirements:

• Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating product and lifestyle photography, ideally including furniture or large-scale items. Work should reflect a clean, commercial style suitable for e-commerce, social media, and advertising.
• Experience: Previous experience in product, still life, or interiors photography preferred. Experience working with furniture is highly desirable.
• Availability: Must be available full-time (Monday–Friday) for the duration of the 3-month contract.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, with familiarity or experience using AI editing tools (e.g. generative fill, automated masking, background removal, or similar technologies).
• Attention to Detail: Excellent eye for detail, lighting, and composition, with the ability to maintain consistency across large image sets.
• Communication: Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with studio and creative teams.
• Time Management: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and manage a high volume of assets.
