Horizons is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Basic Grade Physiotherapist to join our Adult Services multidisciplinary team.

At Horizons, we provide a wide range of supports, including physiotherapy, to empower individuals to achieve their personal goals and live as independently as possible. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, innovative, and supportive interdisciplinary team delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.

Salary - Physiotherapist scale in line with the HSE consolidated pay scales effective 01/02/2026.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering physiotherapy services to individuals accessing Horizons supports. This is a varied and dynamic role offering exposure to multiple areas of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions tailored to individual needs.
  • Work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Support service users to enhance mobility, independence, and overall wellbeing.
  • Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Clinical Experience Areas:

This role offers experience across a diverse caseload, including:

  • Musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions.
  • Hydrotherapy.
  • Respiratory care.
  • Neurological rehabilitation.

About You:

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a dedicated, proactive, and compassionate professional.
  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Be committed to delivering person-centred care.

Essential Criteria:

  • CORU registration or in progress, or final year student eligible for CORU registration at time of interview.
  • Access to own vehicle with full driving licence.
  • Current valid work visa if applicable.

Preferable:

  • Experience in disability services.

A panel may be formed for a 12-month period to fill future, permanent, temporary, full time or part time Physiotherapist positions that may arise in Adult Services within Horizons.
