Location of Post

Galway University Hospitals (GUH). As GUH is a split-campus site the post holder may be required to work in either University Hospital Galway (UHG) or Merlin Park University Hospital Galway (MPUHG).

Initial permanent full-time vacancy (1.0 WTE) is for the Care of the Older Persons Service on the University Hospital Galway (UHG) site. This post will lead and deliver the physiotherapy care of admitted patients under the care of a consultant Geriatrician.

A panel may be created for Older Persons Services from which specified purpose or permanent vacancies of full or part time duration may be filled.

This includes, but is not limited to, areas such as Care of Older Persons, Frailty, OPRAH (Older Persons Rehabilitation at Home) Team, and Pathfinder Team
