We are advertising for a recruitment panel for 2024 Graduate Physiotherapist positions in line with Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services’ panel management guidelines and in accordance with the HSE’s memo on ‘Permanent employment for Health and Social Care Professions graduates 2024’. We hope to attract dynamic and motivated physiotherapists seeking to consolidate undergraduate experience in the specialist areas of practice in Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services.

The role of the Staff Grade Physiotherapist is to provide safe, efficient and effective physiotherapy assessment, treatment and intervention for patients and residents as directed by the Senior Physiotherapist/Physiotherapist Manager. The post holder will work with the Physiotherapist Manager in ensuring the co-ordination, development and delivery of a quality, patient centred physiotherapy service.

Essential Requirements

  • Be a current final year physiotherapy student or have completed final year in 2024
  • Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU
  • Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued (or upcoming application pending in the case of new graduates)
  • Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
  • Have relevant undergraduate placement experience in one or more of the following areas: Rheumatic & Musculoskeletal Diseases, Care of the Older Person, Palliative Care

Annual registration

  • On appointment, practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU
