What is the Role:
The Enterprise Enablement & Cloud Solutions team is responsible for the delivery of Platform & Technology Enablement, Quality Assurance, Framework & Standards Leadership and Enterprise Apps Management for AIB.
Reporting to the Pipeline Engineering Lead, this role will have responsibility for creating common CI/CD. This is a key role to deliver on our pipeline standards and targets for technology to introduce efficiencies and improve quality.
The successful candidate will be technical, passionate, and self-driven, who loves to learn, solve problems, and contribute to the modernisation of the AIB technologies and capabilities.
Key accountabilities;
- Interest in contributing the DevOps and Automation Community of Practices
- Ability to promote new DevOps tooling and strategy
- Experience troubleshooting and resolve build & deployment issues for teams
- Ability to collaborate across Development, Test, Infrastructure, Security and Operations teams
- Ability to tutoring and mentoring Dev Teams on DevSecOps practices
- Ability to script complex solution and solve problems automating manual tasks
What you Will Bring ;
- 2+ years Continuous Integration, Build & Deployment Automation skills
- Excellent understanding of DevOps and CI/CD
- Knowledge of Jenkins & Declarative Pipelines
- Experience with Git, Maven, Groovy, Docker/Containerisation,
- Experience working in Software lifecycle Management
- General Knowledge of the quality process associated to development workflows
- Knowledge on branching strategies
- Relevant Third Level IT qualification.
- Experience working in an agile delivery environment.
- Strong Communication and influencing skills.
- Preferred experience working with Azure cloud
- Preferred experience working with Kubernetes environments
- Preferred experience working in Java Enterprise application contexts
- Preferred experience working in Configuration Management Tools such as Ansible
