Community Places is looking for Planners to join our team.
Community Places is an Award-winning charity and social enterprise. We recently won the IPI Best Plan-making Award and were Commended for Plan-making at the RTPI Awards earlier this year.
We’re here to help people make sense of the planning system and ensure they have a voice in shaping the future of their local places and communities.
We offer free, impartial advice to those in need of planning expertise and guidance. We also support communities, as well as councils and other service providers on planning and engagement initiatives. We deliver high-quality community engagement and ensure that marginalised people have a voice in planning issues that affect them.
We want to recruit two FTE posts, though we are open to flexible or part-time working.Planner and Head of Engagement Planner and Engagement Officer The jobs will be based in our Belfast office, though there will be travel. Direct on-the-ground community engagement in plan-making will be a large part of these posts.
