Whilst the Council are recruiting for a permanent Events Officer in Warrenpoint Town Hall, please note that a reserve list will be compiled for future permanent, temporary, full time and part time posts for Events Officer positions at Council Offices in both Downpatrick and Warrenpoint Town Hall.
Main Purpose of Post/Job:
To support the Safer Communities & Good Relations Manager in the implementation and development of projects undertaken by the Policing & Community Safety Partnership (PSCP) and work as part of a team responsible for the development and implementation of the annual PCSP Action Plan. To promote co-operation between the PCSP and relevant statutory, voluntary and community organisations in order to facilitate safer communities through reduced crime, fear of crime and anti-social behaviour.
Duration of Appointment:
Permanent
Hours of Work:
22.5 hours per week
The post holder must be prepared to work outside normal office hours, including evenings, weekends, and Public and extra Statutory Holidays for which the appropriate payment will be made or time in lieu granted if relevant.
Work Pattern:
Flexi 22.5 hours Monday to Wednesday
Hours of work are kept under review and may change in order to meet operational requirements, providing requisite notice.
