PERMANENT PART-TIME POOL ATTENDANT/LIFEGUARD & THERAPY FACILITATOR

Reporting/Responsible To:

Pool and therapy coordinator/Team Leaders / Service Coordinator /Area Manager

Qualifications/Experience:

Applicants must have a good general education. A Certified Lifeguard qualification is essential and relevant experience of same. Experience of working with persons with an intellectual disability is an advantage.

Skills:

Candidates must be able to demonstrate flexibility, communication and team-working skills, together with an enthusiasm for the post.

Working Hours:

39 hours a fortnight based on a 7 day duty roster. Contracted hours are liable to change between the hours of 8am – 8pm as future Service needs require. Flexibility will be required in order to meet service needs and hours may vary for holiday cover

Annual Leave:

22 days per annum.

Remuneration:

Department of Health Attendant, Multi Task salary scale (01/03/2025) - €35,434 x 8 increments – €44,539 (max) pro rata per annum.

Tenure:

This position is Permanent part-time and pensionable.

Probation:

A probationary period of nine months from the date of appointment applies to the post. The employment may be terminated at any time during the probationary period should the employer find that the appointee is unsuitable to continue employment. The probation period may be extended at the Employer’s discretion.
