Pre-School Room Leader

PRE-SCHOOL LEADER

Crafty Kidz is currently seeking a Pre-School Room Leader to join their team.

This is a full-time position – 35/40 hours over 4 days. 

Opening hours are Monday to Friday 8 am – 6 pm

As room leader you will be responsible for the following

• Promoting high standards of care and education
• Ensuring that the welfare and needs of each child are met at all times
• Compliance with all regulations and guidelines
• Support staff in fulfilling their roles and goals,
• Compliance with all Crafty Kidz policies and procedures
• Working in partnership with parents/carers
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and parents.

You will be required to have the following skills

• A broad of knowledge of childcare regulations and experience working with Tulsa
• An understanding of implementing an Aistear based Curriculum
• To be self motivated and have the ability to motivate others
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A minimum of FETAC level 6 award or a higher award from a recognized body is an advantage.
• 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role in a childcare setting.
