Are you an experienced Press Brake Operator looking for a secure, long-term role in a modern fabrication environment? This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing manufacturing team where quality, safety, and teamwork are at the heart of everything they do.

This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on technical work and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality components.

Key responsibilities:

  • Setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components.
  • Reading and working from engineering drawings, job cards, and production schedules.
  • Selecting and loading appropriate tooling and materials.
  • Preparing, setting, and adjusting machines to meet job specifications.
  • Measuring, aligning, and securing materials for accurate bending.
  • Carrying out first-off and in-process quality checks.
  • Inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality and accuracy standards.
  • Performing routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working area.
  • Working closely with fabrication and production teams to meet targets.

Essential Skills, Qualifications/Experience:

  • Experience operating press brake equipment in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication and bending processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A flexible, can-do attitude and strong teamwork skills.

Desirable Skills, Qualifications/Experience: 

  • Experience with tooling selection and press brake set-up.
  • Experience working to quality and inspection standards.
  • Previous experience in a fabrication department.
