Prestige Underwriting is currently recruiting for a Pricing Analyst based at our Belfast HQ Office. The role would suit candidates due to graduate in 2025 from an Actuarial, Mathematical, Statistical or Risk Management background, recent graduates from the same disciplines, or candidates with 1-2 years industry experience.

As a Pricing Analyst, you will work alongside like-minded colleagues in a supportive and positive environment. You’ll benefit from a structured Development Programme designed to help you learn in real-time, on-the-job and through supported training. That includes:
- Assisting in the development of new product pricing models.
- Assisting in regular reviewing of pricing models for household and motor insurance, ensuring the models are robust and well documented.
- Use of key pricing software packages such as Radar and Emblem to maintain profitability of both household and motor books.
- Performing rigorous validation of data in advance of analysis and actively recommending improvements to data quality.
- Developing solutions using a sound statistical approach to both new and routine pricing problems.
- Assisting in the development, analysis and monitoring of key performance indicators.
- Understanding and communicating analytical results to both technical and non-technical audiences, explaining key results and assumptions.
- Maintaining Financial Conduct Authority compliance at all times.
- General Duties
- Maintain excellent standards of professional conduct, in line with Company policy and procedure, compliance / FCA guidelines and Core Values.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety procedures.
- Undertake such internal and/or external training as deemed necessary by the Company.
- Any other duties that can reasonably be requested by management or nominated representatives.
- Maintain CPD (Continuing Professional Development) on an ongoing basis as applicable for role. This includes compliance with the IFOA’s outlined PPD & CPD structure, Actuaries’ Code etc., depending on level of actuarial advancement.
