Main Purpose of the Job:
To be responsible to the Regulatory Services Manager for the management, planning and delivery of the Environmental Protection and Neighbourhoods functions across the district to ensure an efficient and effective Environmental Health Service, which meets corporate strategic aims and objectives.
To represent FODC on regional specialist groups to ensure sharing of best practice and consistency of approach to service delivery and enforcement.
To be responsible to the Regulatory Services Manager (Building Control and Neighbourhoods) for developing, supporting and monitoring staff in Housing, Environmental Protection, Public Health, Clean Neighbourhoods, Dog Control and Animal Welfare activities to ensure operational performance and continuous improvement in service delivery is achieved.
